Kristin Currie

 

USDF Silver and Bronze Medalist, Kristin Currie of KLC Dressage is a freelance dressage trainer/instructor, Certified Equine Massage Therapist, and Licensed Human Massage Therapist that specializes in the anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the horse and rider. Kristin is a USDF L Graduate with distinction and is curriently pursing a USEF r license in both traditional and western dressage disciplines. Kristin offers her services at Charismatic Moon farm for those whose want to obtain the competetive edge by improving their dressage scores.

Mary D'Arcy O'Connell

 

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Mary D'Arcy O'Connell was an active participant in Pony Club. She obtained her equestrian teaching qualification as a protégé of European show jumping champion, Iris Kellett, and became a British Horse Society Instructor (BHSI). She competed successfully for many years in show jumping, eventing, and dressage. To further her education, she studied with top-class trainers in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Great Britain, and the United States. 

For more than 35 years, Mary has coached riders for competition all over the world, including all major European events (Badminton, Burghley, among others), as well as the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Sydney, and Athens. She coached five European eventing medalists, as well as the gold medal winning team at the 1995 European Young Riders Three-Day Event Championships in Germany.She officially became the Irish Team Eventing coach from 2000 to 2005 including the Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the European Championships, and World Equestrian Games. In the U.S., she has coached dressage riders to their USDF bronze, silver, and gold medals. 

Mary is an ICP faculty member, committee member, and assessor. She currently trains horses and riders, from novice to advanced, for competitions in eventing, show jumping, and dressage, and she travels frequently as a clinician.
